Warren County Approves $21,750 Lake Front Royal Road, Drainage Study
10 March 2017 News
This week the Warren County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved just under $22,000 for a consultant study of road and drainage issues in the Lake Front Royal Sanitary District.
Assistant County Administrator Bob Childress told the board that 41/2 miles of the mountainous subdivision’s 6 miles of roads are unpaved, leading to extensive drainage issues.
With nearly half the cost of the contract with Racey Engineering set aside in the current County Budget, the board will only have to appropriate an additional $12,000 to the project in the coming Fiscal Year.
