Warren County Collision Traps, Injures One
One person was injured after a Christmas Eve vehicle collision in Warren County, just south of Front Royal.
Warren County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched to the intersection of Route 340 and Grandview Drive at around 12 p.m. after receiving reports of the accident. A head-on collision between two vehicles had caused a severe intrusion into the passenger compartment of one, trapping the victim there. It took first responders ten minutes to stabilize and extricate this patient, who was safely removed and transported to the Winchester Medical Center. No other injuries were reported.
