Warren County Fire and Rescue Respond to Accident with Entrapment

Just after 4:30pm on the evening of May 13, Warren County Fire & Rescue units were dispatched to the intersection of Skyline Vista Drive and Stonewall Jackson Highway for a reported motor vehicle crash with possible injuries and entrapment.
Minutes later, units arrived to find a two vehicle, side-impact collision. Entrapment was confirmed on a sole driver of one vehicle and two possible individuals with injuries in the second vehicle. Emergency medical crews began assessment and treatment procedures for the two individuals with injuries while crews assessed the trapped driver. Rescue squad crews started the extrication procedures to free the entrapped driver. The process was completed in less than 10 minutes.
Two patients were treated and transported to local hospital centers while one patient refused transport.
