Warren County School Board considering pushing back first day of school
A new 2020-2021 school calendar will be presented at next Wednesday’s Warren County School Board Meeting.
Warren County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Ballenger issued a statement announcing the board will consider moving the first day of school to Tuesday, Sept. 8.
School officials are recommending the change due to extended delivery timelines of student devices as well as integration of the adopted Learning Management Systems. The change would also give teachers additional time to learn the new systems through which students will access their virtual learning materials and courses.
