Warren County announced by email that County Administrator Bradley N. Gotshall submitted his resignation effective January 28.
Gotshall has served as the administrator since September and oversaw day-to-day operations of county government.
Along with those duties the county administrator acts as a liaison between the Board of Supervisors and county departments to provide services to citizens.
The Board of Supervisors will take action to ensure continuity in operations continues.
In the meantime, the board will name an interim county administrator while seeking a permanent replacement.
Additional information will be released as the process progresses.
The board thanked Gotshall for his service to Warren County and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
