Warren County Wireless Tower Gets Permit Approval

29 January 2019 Front Royal/Warren County News

Warren County’s Board of Supervisors has approved a Conditional Use Permit for a 199-foot-tall wireless tower.

The tower would be located in the Happy Creek magisterial district near the intersections of Morgan Ford and Dismal Hollow roads, and is being sought by MasTec Network Solutions on behalf of Verizon Wireless. The decision by Supervisors followed the recommendation of the Warren County Planning Commission; the permit also came with several conditions recommended by the Commission, including maintaining the natural forest barrier around the site, and allowing Warren County to place three rent-free antennae of their own on the tower when it’s complete.
