WCFR crew deliver a healthy baby boy

Warren County Fire and Rescue (WCFR) report being dispatched to a residence in the county in response to a female in labor.

North Warren’s Medic 10 was the first on the scene and found a 26-year-old female in active labor.

After assessing the situation and noting the urgency, Medic 10 requested additional support.

Front Royal’s Medic 1 arrived to assist with the inevitable imminent birth.

A healthy baby boy was delivered shortly after 4 a.m. January 29.

Both mother and baby were then transported to Winchester Medical Center with no complications.

Congratulations to mother and family and to Battalion Chief Raymond Cross Paramedics Matt Hunt and Camden Whitacre, Firefighters Michael Good, and Matthew Geurkink, and Lieutenant Aaron Miller on a successful delivery.
