WCSO offers citizen real time crime activity data May 1

Warren County Sheriff Mark Butler and the Sheriff’s Office announced that on May first they will offer citizens real time crime activity data.

County residents will be able to receive automated crime notifications using a free citizen Connect Application from Southern Software.

The application becomes available through the Warren County Sheriff’s Office website.

The online services will become available for daily reports, incident reports, wanted person list and alerts along with missing person reports.

Additional options are expected to be added in the future as well.

The new services will help promote transparency and enhance communications with the agency.
