WCSO offers new technology in child and senior identification

A social post from Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) announces new technology for identifying children and seniors.

Safe Surfin Child and Senior Identification Kits are now available at the WCSO thanks to a donation from the Front Royal Moose Lodge.

The kits allow law enforcement to collect fingerprints and photographs of children and seniors.

The information is downloaded onto a thumb drive and turned over to the guardian of the individual.

In the event that person becomes missing the information is readily available for a valuable starting point for investigators.

The service will be available at community and sheriff sponsored events in the future.
