WCSO strongly enforces speed limit
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office wants the public to know it is strongly enforcing the posted speed limits.
Enforcement will take place in the county as well as surrounding towns.
This is in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Obey The Sign Or Pay The Fine campaign.
The enforcement will be particularly strong where speed related crashes are more prevalent.
This includes John Marshall Highway, Remount Road, Winchester Road and Stonewall Jackson Highway.
This is where most speed related crashes occur the most in the county.
In 2015 over 9,000 lives were lost in speed related fatal crashes nationally.
