WCSO with other agencies arrest a Linden man

The Warren County Sheriff Office (WCSO) reports that a collective law enforcement effort ended in child pornography charges against a Linden man.
Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority Police (MWAAP) notified the WCSO’s Criminal Investigations Division of a search warrant execution at a Linden residence.
During the investigation several electronic devices were seized from the home of John P. Farley Jr. in the 900 block of Northern Spy Drive in Linden.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Digital Forensics Unit flagged almost 70 items containing potential child pornography on those devices.
WCSO Investigators found that 16 of those items met the code of Virginia requirement for charges to be placed against Farley.
The 70-year-old Farley was arrested and formerly charged with 16 counts of possessing, distributing, reproducing and facilitation of child pornography on May 25.
The WCSO is a member of the Northern Virginia District of Columbia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (NOVA/DC-ICACTF).
This case is an excellent example of the multi jurisdictional effort to prevent these types of crimes according to the press release.
Anyone with any information in this case or any case involving the solicitation or exploitation of a minor should contact Investigator Hajduk of WCSO at 540-635-7100 extension 2223.
