Winchester City Council passes resolutions

Winchester’s City Council approved a resolution that authorizes the allocation of CARES Act funding.
The monies will be allocated for emergency rental and utility payments and food assistance for low to moderate income level individuals impacted by COVID-19.
The City Council also approved banning guns of any kind from any city owned building or building being used by the city.
The ban applies to city public parks public right-of-ways as well as city yards.
