Winchester and Front Royal Property Tax Due Today
After being extended by one day in observance of the national day of mourning for President George H.W. Bush, the due date for the second half of property tax bills in both Winchester and Front Royal has arrived.
The two localities are reminding citizens that today, those who have not done so already will have to make their payments. Front Royal citizens can make their payments online at frontroyalva.com, or by mail to the Town of Front Royal at P.O. Box 1560. Winchester has partnered with Official Payments and Click2gov to offer online and phone payment options for personal property and real estate taxes. A link to online payment sites is available on winchesterva.gov/bill-pay, or citizens can call 1-800-272-9829. Arrangements may be made through the Treasurer’s Office to set a payment plan for delinquent real estate and personal property taxes before delinquent collection actions are started.
