Winchester Medical Center receives an “A”

heart attack treatment

Valley Health’s Winchester Medical Center (WMC) received a grade of “A” in Hospital Safety.

The spring 2021 Leapfrog survey of 2700 hospitals across the country awarded WMC the highest possible grade.

The hospital was already rated a top facility only one of 105 hospitals to be honored in the country.

WMC most recently scored the “A” in protecting patients from errors, injuries, accidents and infections in the nationwide survey.

The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization driving a movement for giant leaps forward in quality and safety of American health care.
