10 July 2019 Winchester News

At its meeting this week, the Winchester School Board voted to keep Allyson Pate as its chairwoman.

The Monday (7/8/2019) decision was unanimous, and means that Pate will remain in the role for another one-year term. Pate’s time on the board, however, will come to a close in a year; her final term expires on July 1, 2020. Board members also voted to keep Marie Imoh as the board’s vice chairwoman during the organizational meeting, and appointed V. Douglas Joyner as both Superintendent Designee at board meetings and Deputy Clerk, Bonnie Stickley as Clerk, Garland Miller as their Agent, and Patricia Smith as their Deputy Agent.
