Winchester stream and garden cleanup

Winchester has a stream and community garden cleanup planned for Saturday Apr. 17.

Bags and supplies and items will be provided.

Groups will meet at the community garden at Hollingsworth Dr. and Eagle Dr. in Winchester at 8 a.m..

With no filtration system on storm drains litter will flow into natural waterways endangering wildlife and vegetation.

The lack of filtration will could also eventually affect our drink water as well so a cleanup is a necessity.
