Winchester’s FY17 Street Repaving Program Continues

11 April 2017 News

Winchester City’s FY17 street repaving program began in August 2016 but was delayed due to winter weather. Due to the expected warm temperatures, crews will be repaving the remaining streets this week.

Yesterday began paving on Prince George Place (cul-de-sac) and Tennyson Avenue between Jefferson Street and Harper Drive. Beginning today, Jefferson Street will be repaved from Valley Avenue to the end. Once Jefferson Street is completed, Handley Avenue between Bellview and Miller will be repaved.

The streets where the paving is occurring will be closed to through traffic, however, the City will be working with adjacent property owners to provide access as much as possible.
