Clarke County Public Schools: Friday, December 18 is scheduled as a non-student day.
Fauquier County Public Schools: FCPS buildings and administrative offices will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 18. It was already a scheduled teacher work-day, so no students.
Frederick County Public Schools: On Friday, Dec. 18 all Frederick County Public Schools will be closed. The school division’s administrative offices and all school offices will open on their regular schedule on Friday. Although no students will physically attend school on Friday, students are expected to complete online assignments as normal. Any required online instruction will be offered virtually on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. following specific school schedules. Teachers will provide maximum flexibility to those students who may not have the ability to access online learning and complete their assignments. School breakfast and lunch may be picked up by any student between 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday at any FCPS middle or high school as well as Indian Hollow, Middletown, Orchard View and Stonewall elementary schools.

Powhatan School: CLOSED Dec. 18
Rappahannock County Public Schools: Friday, December 18th, which was scheduled to be an early release day, will now be a remote learning day for all students.
Shenandoah County Public Schools: Students are encouraged to complete and submit missing or late assignments as students transition to all virtual learning on Friday the 18th through Tuesday the 22nd. Meals will not be available for pickup. All practices and events are cancelled. Essential personnel do not report.
Warren County Public Schools: Will operate a virtual snow day schedule on Friday, December 18, 2020. Schools will be closed to students.
Winchester Public Schools: Winchester Public Schools and administrative offices will operate on a two hour delay Friday, December 18. This will be a “B” day for students on the hybrid schedule.
Berryville: On December 18th the Town of Berryville will remove snow from the downtown area. Operations will begin at approximately 6:00 a.m. and will continue until complete. The snow removal operation is expected to proceed as follows:
- West Main Street (between Buckmarsh and Church Streets) and North Church Street (between Main and Liberty Streets).
- East Main Street (between Church Street and Chalmers Court).
- Crow Street and South Church Street (between Crow and Main Streets).
Street sections will be closed to traffic and parking during operations, then re-opened once work is completed in that area.
