Woodstock Fire Department Responds to Multiple Incidents with Limited Numbers

Sunday February 26, at approximately 4:00pm, the Woodstock Fire Department responded to a crash involving three vehicles on Interstate 81 at the 287 north bound mile marker. After arriving on the scene, crews secured hazards and handled two minor fluid leaks. EMS crews evaluated individuals involved in the crash. All units cleared the scene around 5:00pm.
This was the fourth incident handled by the Woodstock Fire Department Sunday afternoon. The other incidents included an outside fire, a child trapped in a seatbelt, and another motor vehicle crash on I-81. All of these incidents were handled with a crew of only 7 firefighters.
