WPD assisted by WCSO in finding missing teen

The Winchester Police Department (WPD) and Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) both announced the use of Warren County’s K-9 unit in helping to locate a missing teen.

The WPD was notified of a missing 13 year old male with autism from the Bellview Avenue South Braddock Street area of Winchester.

The WPD called in the assistance of WCSO K-9 Officer Anderson and his partner Rooster.

With the pair’s assistance the young man was found quickly and safe.

The WPD was grateful for the WCSO’s assistance in the search and rescue.
