The West Virginia Emergency Management is conducting a survey to assess recent Martinsburg flooding. Recovery from the August 27th flooding is

ongoing and a damage assessment is a critical step for any potential federal emergency aid and is available. If your home, business, or property was

damaged in the flooding this survey is an important step to recovery. The survey is simply an assessment of the damage incurred and takes about 5

minutes to complete. If enough damage is reported statewide, it could help West Virginia become eligible for additional federal assistance. including

individual assistance. While completing the survey does not guarantee individual assistance, unreported damage cannot be counted when recovery needs

are evaluated. For assistance in completing the survey or for answers to questions call West Virginia 211 or 833-848-9905 8 a.m. to midnight.
