Warren County Public Schools reports by email the continued closure of E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School.
E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School will remain closed to students Wednesday August 26.
The Warren County Building Inspector issued the emergency closure of the school building due to identified structural damage.
There is an open house scheduled at each designated school Wednesday night August 26 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The closure at E. Wilson Morrison School allows staff time to set up their relocated classrooms and ensure a seamless transition for learning.
The county Middle and High School have repurposed existing classroom space to accommodate the E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School community.
A detailed engineering report for the repair plan and timeline is expected soon with additional information to follow when it becomes available.
