According to the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office release a narcotics investigation has resulted in the arrest of 3 in the Shenandoah Valley.
A combination of law enforcement agencies from across the Shenandoah Valley opened the investigation into illicit drug activity in the valley on June 6.
After a traffic stop in Edinburg by Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and a Canine alert a glass smoking device was discovered.
That led to two controlled purchases that netted over 14 ounces of methamphetamine and at least 150 pressed fentanyl pills.
After the purchases search warrants were issued and executed on two residents that resulted in three arrests.
Brittainy Lee Taylor Cline of Harrisonburg, Emily Meri Grace Lamb of Stephen City, and Jaron Evandon Carey of Winchester are currently facing mostly possession and distribution charges.
In all the investigation has taken in 10 pounds of methamphetamine, a half ounce of cocaine, and 15 pounds of marijuana.
Additional seizures included over 8,000 pressed fentanyl pills.
This investigation continues with additional charges likely.
